The Meanest P-90 we make as a standard model.10k, Alnico 5 magnets. It’s loud, it’s raunchy, it’s nasty. Nice top end bite and low end bark!

Incredible P90. Replaced stock P90 in Gibson SG Classic, completely transformed that guitar. Highly recommended.

I put the Meanest P90 in the brigde position of my 2020 TV Yellow Epiphone LP Specail. It is a great guitar nice fit and finish clean fret ends set neck graphtech nut just a cool affordable guitar. It has two flaws in my opinion the thick poly finish (which I will have to live with) and the somewhat lifeless pickups. The Wolftones did not disappoint in the bridge this pickup is bright and aggressive while also managing to have girth and weight.
Love it!
Thanks Wolfetone

Tried a number of other P90s in the bridge position of my Les Paul Special. None gave me what I wanted. The Meanest nailed it! It’s fat, full and sweet sounding. My search is over!

My LP Jr had an 8k stock Gibson P90 that was pretty great, but decided to try the 10k Meanest. Glad I did as its even better. I can still get a good ‘tele spank’ and its not as bright on the highs as the stock, which were a bit too bright for me. It showed up this past Saturday and I went to rehearsal on Sunday (yesterday), and am very happy with the Meanest!

Absolutely phenomenal.
That’s all there is to say about it.
I had a stock Gibson p90 in a Les Paul junior and just replaced it today.
I believe the Gibson one had some QC issues but I digress.
The second I plugged my guitar in it sounded like a whole different instrument.
The clean tones were surprising and the dirty was beyond expectations.
If you’re thinking about buying a pickup for Metal/Punk anything high gain: Get a meanest p90.

I just put the meanest in my Epi LP Jr. this pickup took the guitar from thin and weak to bold and out front. I heard about it from a bandmate who I’m grateful to for turning me on to Wolftones. You’d never think this was a single pickup guitar if you heard it without seeing it.

This pickup rips! Even with its higher output, the notes are still very defined. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a lil extra out of a p90 pickup. Also, great customer service
