Recommended for bridge position only.

Made by cutting and joining four humbucker bobbins together to create two double-tall bobbins, the Dire Wolf is then loaded with Alnico 5 rod magnets, and wound with a Tele-bridge pickup sized coil of 42awg wire on each bobbin, coming in at about 16k. This creates a humbucker with a massive, spanky, Tele-like sound to it. When split, it’s even more Tele-like.

Wax potted to eliminate feedback.

The Dire Wolf is NOT available with covers. Due to the height of the bobbins, it is only available with short mounting legs, giving it an overall height of approximately a standard humbucker.
