The RazorBlade is the Ray Carlisle signature pickup — built for the guitarist of punk rock mainstays Teenage Bottlerocket, and wound for players who need a bridge humbucker that hits hard and stays quiet. At 9k ohms with an Alnico 5 magnet, it delivers punchy output with tight lows and enough cut to keep fast downstroke riffs defined instead of mushy. Every RazorBlade is wax potted to kill microphonic feedback, so it stands up to stage volume and high gain without squealing.

Punk demands a pickup that’s aggressive but articulate — chords need to sound like chords at full tilt. That’s what Ray needed, and that’s what this is.
